From December 8 to 13, São Paulo will once again host the elite of women’s volleyball with the 19th edition of the Women’s Volleyball Club World Championship at Corinthians’ home arena in Tatuapé. Here, we’ll tell you everything you need to know about how to buy tickets and cheer on our players!
Unlike other tournaments that spread their matches across the host state, the Women’s Volleyball Club World Championship will have all matches played in a single location: the Wlamir Marques Multisport Gymnasium in Parque São Jorge.
Overall, the tournament will follow the same format as previous editions. There will be 16 matches in total, with 12 taking place during the group stage, two semifinals, and, finally, the bronze medal match and the grand final.
The first round takes place on December 8, 9, and 10, with the semifinals scheduled for December 12. Finally, the third-place match and the grand final will be held on December 13.
This year, the host will be the Osasco São Cristóvão Saúde club, confirmed alongside Sesi Vôlei Bauru, the club that earned its spot after winning the 2026 South American Championship. This ensures that two Brazilian teams will compete in the tournament.
Although the other participants have not yet been announced by the FIVB, the specialized press predicts the presence of international clubs such as VakıfBank and Eczacıbaşı from Turkey, Nakhon Ratchasima from Thailand, the NEC Red Rockets from Japan, Al Ahly from Egypt, and the Coronelas de Durango from Mexico.
Despite speculation, the official roster will not be announced until the coming months.
São Paulo and the Women’s Volleyball Club World Championship
Hosting the tournament for the fourth time, São Paulo has previously hosted the Club World Championship in 1991, 1994, and last year, in 2025.
The city’s connection to the competition is symbolic and has historically brought good luck to the state’s clubs. The first two editions hosted by São Paulo were won by regional clubs.
In fact, the city of São Paulo has a long history of hosting major volleyball competitions. It has previously hosted the World League, the Grand Prix, the World Championship, and the South American Games.
How to buy tickets?
Pre-sale tickets were announced on August 8 on the event’s official platform. General sales began on August 10, with individual tickets in the first batch ranging from R$ 57.50 (half-price) to R$ 115 (full price).
Prices vary depending on the stage of the tournament, so it’s best to hurry and buy your tickets as soon as possible. In the last edition, tickets sold out in just 40 minutes.
