Cities to spend Christmas in inland São Paulo
Holambra
Christmas in Holambra by Expoflora is coming! From November 14 to December 14, the public can enjoy the Christmas atmosphere in the countryside with a light show and, of course, a multitude of flowers.
Santa Claus, musical shows, a choir, the ” ChristmasParade” and the “Snowfall” are among the main attractions for the public.

Campos do Jordão
The charming city, located in the Serra da Mantiqueira, is usually the favorite of São Paulo residents during the winter. But at the end of the year, the city becomes a veritable Christmas Village.
In 2025, Campos do Jordão’s Christmas of Dreams begins on October 31 and runs until the beginning of 2026. The program includes a Santa Claus carriage ride on the opening day, “Toy Factory” themed decorations, a 15-metre tree and musical, dance and theatrical attractions.

São José do Rio Preto
According to the city hall, in 2025 São José do Rio Preto will have a Christmas unlike anything the city has ever seen. The program will include lighting on the main avenues, 22 giant Christmas trees and 23 nativity scenes in different regions. Another novelty is the “Santa Claus Map”, an app that will list the city’s main Christmas attractions. This way, visitors will have the program in the palm of their hand!
The “Encantos de Natal” program is free and starts on November 14 and runs until December.

Guararema
The traditional Guararema Cidade Natal is back in 2025, but in a different format. At the request of the population, this year’s edition will have a smaller infrastructure, but just as enchanting!
There will be decorations, a cultural program and a gastronomic space concentrated in a single area of the city, which has not yet been announced by the town hall. It will be the perfect outing for those looking to experience Christmas without the crowds in the interior of São Paulo.

Serra Negra
As well as a Christ the Redeemer, a Trevi Fountain and even Disneyland, this city in the interior of São Paulo also has an enchanting Christmas program. The program for Natal Luzes da Serra 2025 begins on November 14 at 6:30 p.m. with the switching on of the lights and the arrival of Santa Claus.
Around 2 million lights will illuminate the town, which will also host musical and artistic performances until the end of December.

Olympia
Every year, the tourist resort of Olímpia presents its traditional Enchanted Christmas, with a special program in the city center. In 2025, the event will take place from November 28 to December 20, with Christmas decorations and free cultural attractions.

Atibaia
The Land of the Strawberry is preparing for another unmissable Christmas festival! This New Year’s Eve, Atibaia will host typical decorations and free cultural performances, such as choirs and live shows. The start date and the full program will be available soon.

Santo Antônio do Pinhal
From November 28th to December 28th, the city in the interior of São Paulo will host Encanto de Natal 2025. With themed decorations and free attractions, the program promises to delight children and adults alike, who will be able to experience the Christmas spirit amidst the beauty of the Serra da Mantiqueira. There will also be a craft fair for those who want to buy original gifts for the family!

Socorro
Socorro is one of the most popular cities in the interior of São Paulo for lovers of extreme sports. At Christmas time, however, it receives special lighting in the traditional Christmas Lights.

Botucatu
Every year, the city’s iconic Rubião Júnior Square hosts the special “Botucatu Encantado” event. In addition, the festival features theater activities, orchestras, choirs, bands and various other attractions. However, the official date is not yet known and should be announced in the coming months.

Itu
The historic train ride between the cities of Itu and Salto, in the interior of São Paulo, becomes even more special in December. This is because, during the Christmas period, the Trem da República offers its traditional themed itinerary.
