On May 8, Capivari Park inaugurated the new horror attraction in the state’s coolest city, Campos do Jordão. It was created by Indiana Mystery, a company specializing in immersive entertainment. The Castle of Terror offers the best of horror in a circuit filled with scares around every corner.
Lasting 13 minutes, to ensure the best experience, only small groups are allowed at a time. The interactive setting was designed to be as intense and safe as possible. It even includes escape routes for those who want to interrupt the tour and adaptations for wheelchair users.
Unlike conventional horror circuits, the castle focuses on building the atmosphere as a whole. From physical elements, such as tactilesets and lighting that create discomfort and suspense, to the monsters and special effects that complement the experience.
Led by a cast of 13 professional actors, the experience seeks to explore fear and imagination, blending reality with fiction through a narrative that guides visitors to the end of the journey. Instead of being mere spectators, the audience becomes part of the story being told.
What to expect from the Castle of Terror at Capivari Park?

As in a traditional theater, the actors do not limit themselves to just scaring people, but also use silence as a device to instill fear. Furthermore, they interact directly with the audience, maintaining narrative coherence and creating the feeling of an interactive theater, where each visit is unique.
The facilities are also part of the immersive experience. The scenic maze covers about 450 square meters, with dark corridors leading to horror installations and themed rooms.
Although it is a dark adventure, the castle has no age restriction. However, it is worth noting that the nature of the experience may be unsuitable for very young children or people sensitive to visual and auditory stimuli .
On the other hand, it is located within a park featuring other family-friendly attractions. Such as cable cars, an ice skating rink, paddle boats, and activities for all ages.
