Halloween in São Paulo: special events, haunted spots, and fun tips for all ages!

Dopamine Land has switched to Spooky Mode! During the Halloween season, the immersive experience at Shopping Eldorado features ghosts, pumpkins, spiderwebs, skeletons, and new sensory experiences along the route. All of this without turning into a horror show: the experience remains fun and is perfect for anyone who wants to celebrate the holiday with an extra dose of mystery.

A Candlelight show with live music in a magical setting lit by candles. This event features a very special repertoire of Halloween classics and iconic themes, lasting 60 minutes and featuring live string quartets.

Brazil’s largest Mexican celebration reaches its 7th edition with traditional cuisine, parades, mariachis, lucha libre, a Catrinas contest, and a major exhibition of altars dedicated to Indigenous women. There will be over 120 booths, 100 artists, and a complete immersion in Mexican culture.

A playful and laid-back experience awaits families at Ibirapuera Shopping to celebrate the spookiest day of the year. The event features a costume contest, the Mister and Miss Halloween pageant, as well as giveaways of balloons and cotton candy set to music by a DJ. There will also be themed characters dressed as “little monsters” interacting with the public throughout the afternoon.

Halloween gets a historical twist with the Haunted Race, which takes place in one of the capital’s largest parks right on Halloween. You can participate by running or walking, taking advantage of the occasion to enjoy a fun outing surrounded by nature!

Take your Paranapiacaba experience to the next level by embarking on this adventure! The Zumbi Express takes the brave on a Halloween-themed ride, featuring decorated train cars, themed characters, and onboard service. Experience for ages 12 and up.

Still on the tracks, the Hallowtrain takes passengers on a themed journey between Itu and Salto, featuring spooky scenery, costumed characters, and culinary experiences. The event offers fun for kids and adults alike, including snacks, surprise activities, and a welcome drink for anyone wearing a costume!

This Halloween, Largo da Batata transforms into one big Halloween party! The full schedule isn’t available yet, but we can already expect food trucks, DJs, Instagram-worthy spots, and themed activities for the whole family.

If you want to celebrate Halloween in São Paulo outdoors in a family-friendly atmosphere, be sure to add the Moema Halloween Festival to your calendar. Brazil’s only outdoor Halloween festival offers free admission and features magic shows, musical performances, and the group dance routine “Thrill the World.” There are optional paid activities for kids, such as giant inflatable play structures and a trick-or-treat station.

The historic village of Paranapiacaba becomes a stage for music, culture, cuisine, and plenty of scares. This Halloween, visitors can enjoy live shows, local cuisine, a craft fair, and craft breweries.

The third edition of “Noites do Espanto” features themed shows, a costume contest, and spooky experiences 91 meters up on Latin America’s tallest Ferris wheel. The event includes a themed outdoor corridor and special face-painting activities, as well as raffles, challenges, and scary characters.

Participation is recommended for those ages ten and older and people without medical restrictions.

The Halloween spirit takes over Shopping Jardim Sul with a special trick-or-treat hunt for the little ones! The activity invites children to explore the mall on a themed adventure, divided into five sessions over two days. It’s a great way to enjoy the holiday with the family and score some free treats.

The Catavento Museum, one of the most playful museums in São Paulo, offers a special Halloween program. With interactive attractions for all ages, science experiments, themed decorations, and over 200 installations, the event celebrates Halloween with plenty of imagination!

The charming English village of Santo André transforms into a scene of horror for Paranapiacaba’s Halloween celebration. For three days, visitors will find themed decorations, monsters, workshops, shows, and a trick-or-treat hunt.

How about enjoying an immersive (and terrifying) experience this Halloween? Latin America’s largest vertical horror complex is launching a new escape room in October called “Catacombs: The Origin of Evil,” along with makeup workshops and nighttime experiences.

To ensure fun for the whole family, Mogi Shopping has prepared attractions for both children and pets. On the first day, “Halloween Kids” offers a trick-or-treat hunt with themed characters. The following day, the venue hosts “Auulloween” featuring a DJ, pet-friendly face painting, treat giveaways, and a costume contest for dogs.

Cine na Praça is back in October with a special Halloween edition. In partnership with Cine Phenomena, the event transforms the CCSP’s Jardim Suspenso into an open-air movie theater that will screen 15 horror, fantasy, and sci-fi films. Highlights include “Corpse Bride,” “A Nightmare on Elm Street,” “The Lost Boys,” and “Monster House.”

This outdoor Halloween event invites families to take over the public space, turning the plaza into one big party! There will be a trick-or-treat hunt, attractions for kids, and a food court.

São Paulo’s culinary scene has fully embraced the Halloween spirit! Several establishments have prepared seasonal-themed sweets, dishes, and drinks. Renata Arassiro Chocolates presents the Kawaii Monsters collection, featuring Belgian chocolate bonbons in playful, handcrafted shapes. Meanwhile, Ghee Banqueteria has put together a delivery menu that includes everything from Bat Ravioli and Mini Monster Dogs to marshmallow tombstones and a Red Velvet Candle Cake.

For those with a sweet tooth, Tchocolath and Chocolat du Jour are offering buckets of chocolate skulls, caramelized popcorn, and spooky cookies. Those looking for savory options can try the Pizza CF, made with pumpkin cream at Câmara Fria, or the naturally leavened Pumpkin Bread from Forneria & Cia. Rounding out the culinary tour, Casarìa restaurant offers Pumpkin Spice pie, desserts, and exclusive themed drinks, such as the “Blood Moon” and “Dark Enchantment.”

Pabllo’s Halloween show in São Paulo kicks off Pabllo Vittar’s tour, themed “Circus of Horrors.” The show combines pop music, cutting-edge set design, and performances, and the audience is invited to wear their best costumes to enjoy the show.
