The Jardinópolis fishing circuit
The city hosts several themed fishing tournaments organized by the region’s fishing spots, and best of all, they are for all ages. In Jardinópolis, there are night tournaments in celebration of commemorative dates and competitions between children and teenagers up to 16 years old.
Peixe & Cia Fishing Club
A family-friendly environment focused on sport fishing and visitor leisure. The space offers fishing lakes and the possibility of cleaning the fish if the customer wants to consume it on site. It also has a restaurant with self-service and portion options, as well as a kids’ area.
Casagrande Fishing Resort
After undergoing a renovation, the place became a resort and also offers a peaceful and family-friendly environment. In addition to sport fishing and pay-to-fish, which is a type of recreational fishing where customers pay per kilo for the fish they catch.
Pesqueiro Casagrande has kiosks, restaurants, and bars for food. For younger children, the place also has a recreation area with face painting and toys.
Dutra Waterfall
In addition to the three waterfalls located within the Morro Azul Farm, Jardinópolis is also home to the Dutra Waterfall, just 4 kilometers from the center. Camping is not allowed at the site, so it is usually a day trip. To access the waterfall, you need to take a light 5- to 10-minute hike, which is accessible for beginners.
Station to Station Trail
The trail starts at Visconde de Paranaíba station in Jardinópolis and continues to Brodowski station in the city of the same name. It is a six-kilometer easy walk on flat terrain, which is also used by cyclists. The route combines nature appreciation with the historical memory of both cities, as it follows the old train tracks.
