Ipiranga Creek Spring Trail
If you’re looking for trails in São Paulo and want to start with a light route, this trail is perfect! Inside the Parque Estadual das Fontes do Ipiranga, in the Jardim Botânico, it is a 720 m round trip.
At the end of the walk, you can also visit the source of the Ipiranga River.

Pedra Grande Trail
In the north of the capital, in the Cantareira State Park, you can take an incredible walk to leave the madness of everyday life behind.
This is because, opened to the public in 1989, the park is one of the largest native urban forests in the world. One of the most popular trails is Pedra Grande, which offers a panoramic view of the city.

Trail of Life
The Trilha da Vida (Trail of Life), located in the Guarapiranga reservoir region, would have everything to be a trail like any other. However, one detail changes the whole experience: it can only be done blindfolded!

Trail of Silence
The trail takes its name from the dense vegetation that muffles much of the noise produced by the roads surrounding Jaraguá Park.

Sagui Waterfall Trail
One easily accessible waterfall on the southern edge of the capital is the Sagui Waterfall. It is located inside Fazenda Maravilha, a private property and the area is environmentally preserved.
To get there, all you have to do is follow a trail, which is also easily accessible.

Pai Zé Trail
For those who want an incredible view of the city, a good idea is to visit the Jaraguá Peak. The climb to its summit can be made via the Pai Zé Trail.
In addition, the route is about 3.5 kilometers long through closed forest and can take around 1.5 hours.

Caminhos do Mar Trail
The Serra do Mar State Park, close to the capital, also has trails for enjoying nature.
One of them is the Torre Waterfall Trail. Nine kilometers long, the trail takes an average of six hours and offers incredible views of the Baixada Santista.
There is also the Historical Monuments Trail, which passes along the stone path taken by Dom Pedro I during the proclamation of Independence.
