Rock Week: learn about the origins of World Rock Day
World Rock Day takes place in honor of Live Aid, a major rock festival that took place in England and the United States on July 13, 1985. On that occasion, great artists such as Queen, Paul McCartney, Dire Straits and Black Sabbath took to the stage and had their concerts broadcast to almost two billion people in a hundred different countries.
