Pardinho is in the interior of São Paulo, about 207 kilometers from the capital, and is an unmissable destination for those who like nature and good food. After all, as well as breathtaking natural landscapes, the town is full of homemade and artisanal flavors, such as beers, gourmet coffees and even some of the best cheeses in the world.
In recent years, Pardinho has also been given the title of “Land of Emotions” for its wide range of adventure tourism. So if you like adrenaline, we recommend that you take a few days off to enjoy this trip!
What to do in Pardinho?
This inland town has only 5,000 inhabitants, so you can imagine that it’s a very quiet place, perfect for relaxing. But don’t worry, even though it’s quiet, there are plenty of attractions to enjoy there.
One example is the Linear Park, which is on the banks of the Rio Pardo and has cycle paths, a running track, courts, picnic tables and more. Or the Max Feffer Center, a cultural space that hosts free exhibitions and musical performances.
In addition, Pardinho is full of ecotourism options, such as zip lines, trailsextreme buggy rides and mountain biking. A full plate for those who enjoy adrenaline rushes!
Craft products and country culture
Pardinho is also an interesting hub for those who enjoy good gastronomy. In 2021, for example, the Mandala and Costinha cheeses, produced in the region, were named the best in the world in a competition in France. In addition, Cuesta Café is a famous coffee shop in the region, with food and 100% Arabica gourmet coffees made in-house.
Finally, another striking feature of Pardinho is its strong country influence. The country culture is so strong there that the town is also known as the “Capital of Root Music”. In fact, once a year it hosts the Pardinho Root Music Festival (FESMURP), which brings together local and national country artists. The dates for 2025 are not yet available, but if you’re a rodeo fan, it’s worth keeping an eye out so you don’t miss out!
