Anyone who loves connecting with nature now has a great reason to hit the road this holiday! A new partnership between Mitsubishi and Parquetur, a nature reserve concessionaire, guarantees free admission to six natural parks in Brazil through 2030.
To qualify for free admission, you must own a Mitsubishi vehicle. Through October 2027, customers can pick up a passport entitling them to up to four tickets per destination at Mitsubishi dealerships or at the parks’ ticket offices. Once picked up, the tickets remain valid through 2030; the only requirement is to visit the nature reserve in a Mitsubishi vehicle.
The itinerary features some of the country’s most beautiful landscapes, and two of these parks are less than 300 kilometers from São Paulo:
- Caminhos do Mar State Park (São Paulo)
- Itatiaia National Park (Rio de Janeiro)
- Itacolomi State Park (Minas Gerais)
- Ibitipoca State Park (Minas Gerais)
- Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park (Goiás)
- Chapada dos Guimarães National Park (Mato Grosso)
That’s why we’ve rounded up the best attractions in the destinations closest to São Paulo. Check out what to do there!

Caminhos do Mar State Park: History and Adventure in the Mountains of São Paulo
Located just one hour from São Paulo, the Estrada Velha de Santos is home to Caminhos do Mar Park, one of the state’s most comprehensive tourist destinations. The site preserves a stretch of Atlantic Forest and part of the route traveled by Dom Pedro I on his way to proclaiming independence.
In addition to its natural beauty—which earned the region the title of UNESCO Biosphere Reserve—the road features eight historic monuments dating back to 1922. In other words, the trip is a real treat for fans of history and ecotourism!
To explore the park, visitors can choose from three main trails: the Historical Trail, the Adventure Trail, and the Ecotourism Trail. Adrenaline junkies can also enjoy the “Voo da Serra” zip line, which crosses the Serra do Mar mountain range from São Bernardo do Campo to Cubatão!
Park admission tickets cost R$ 55 (full price). But now, thanks to this partnership, Mitsubishi customers can visit the park at no cost!

Itatiaia National Park: Brazil’s 5th-highest peak, just a few hours from São Paulo
Although located in the state of Rio de Janeiro, Itatiaia National Park is just 270 kilometers from the capital of São Paulo. Created in 1937, it was Brazil’s first national park and is home to 28,000 hectares of native vegetation, with crystal-clear pools and waterfalls.
Its main attraction is Pico das Agulhas Negras, at an elevation of 2,800 meters. Considered the 5th highest mountain in Brazil, it marks the tripoint between Minas Gerais, São Paulo, and Rio de Janeiro, and is accessible via a highly challenging trail.
With so many natural wonders just a short trip away, Itatiaia National Park is a smart choice for your next long weekend. Admission costs R$46 (full price), but you can take advantage of this partnership to visit the park for free!
