Lewis Carroll’s literary universe continues to inspire artists around the world! In São Paulo, “Reflexos (in)Versos no País das Maravilhas” invites the public on an immersive journey that transcends the original work. Curated by visual artist Vera Uberti, the exhibition offers reflections on the contemporary human condition in a search for meaning amid the unknown.
The “Alice in Wonderland” exhibition brings together art, technology, and sensory stimuli at Farol Santander. Through lights, mirrors, and sound design, the artistic journey conveys everyday feelings, such as a lack of time and constant personal transformations.

“Reflexos (in)Versos no País das Maravilhas” offers a sensory and technological journey
The Farol Santander exhibition places the visitor at the center of their own journey. Right at the start, the installation “I’m Late,” inspired by the White Rabbit, sets the pace for the visit. In the space, hypnotic neon LED lights fill the staircase in a direct allusion to the modern obsession with routine.
Next, the work “Metamorphosis” uses light tubes to represent the changes in scale that Alice experiences in the story. In addition, the “Rose Garden” recreates the original setting from the books with repetitions and visual excesses that leave a lasting impression on visitors walking through the hall.
The intensity reaches its peak in “Disritmia.” In this installation, a large red heart pulses through 125 digital LED tubes and mirrored panels, referencing the Queen of Hearts.

The “Alice in Wonderland” exhibition features special guest appearances
In addition to Vera Uberti, “Reflexos (in)Versos no País das Maravilhas” featured contributions from the international art scene. Swiss artist Pipilotti Rist presents the video installation “Open My Glade (2000–2017),” in which a face appears to crumple and press against the edges of the projection screen, giving the audience the sensation of shrinking in the face of the image’s immensity.
The production also featured sound designer Furio Valitutti. Responsible for the original soundtrack, the Italian artist presents songs composed specifically for the experience, adding an even more immersive touch to the newest Alice in Wonderland exhibition.
