From October through December, Shopping Vila Olímpia will host the second edition of the AutoMotor Experience exhibition, which promises to delight younger generations and evoke nostalgia among longtime motorsports fans.
The event features a collection of more than 150 items from collectors and immersive experiences that let visitors feel the thrill of the racetrack.
Curated by Reginaldo Leme, one of Brazil’s leading motorsports journalists, the exhibition aims to introduce the world of motorsports to people of all ages.
According to João Gabriel Brene, director and co-curator of the exhibition, we need to bring the public closer and democratize access to the world of motorsports, especially to preserve the sport’s legacy.
And above all, to honor the Brazilian drivers who have achieved great feats around the world and made it all the way to Formula 1: such as Ayrton Senna and, more recently, Pernambuco native Rafael Câmara, who was announced this month to race for the American Haas team in 2027.
What can you expect from the AutoMotor Experience?

With a one-hour tour filled with memories, the collection—featuring historic cars, iconic helmets and racing suits, and photographic records—revisits the various phases of the sport in Brazil and around the world.
In fact, it features a special section dedicated to memories from Reginaldo Leme’s 50-year career, in which he shares with the public exclusive items and behind-the-scenes glimpses of his coverage of Grand Prix races around the world.
In addition, the exhibition also features new items such as the go-karts in which drivers Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, and Brazilian Gabriel Bortoleto paraded during the drivers’ parade at the 2025 São Paulo Grand Prix.
Combining a historical collection with immersive experiences and technology, the exhibition features resources developed by Spot MediaTech to entertain visitors of all ages!
As you make your way through the exhibition halls, you can try your hand at a few laps around the iconic Interlagos circuit on a traditional racing simulator with pedals. Or, if you prefer, you can race using virtual reality goggles and video game controllers.
And finally, the immersive experience also includes the atmosphere of the teams’ garages. With a timed pit stop simulator to compete against friends and a reaction panel to test your reflexes just like the drivers.
Be sure to plan a visit!

The second edition of AutoMotor Experience opened on October 16 and runs through December 20 at Shopping Vila Olímpia, Tuesday through Sunday, from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
With tickets starting at R$45, the box office also offers a “social admission” option, which will donate R$10 from the price of each ticket to the Ingo Hoffmann Institute, an organization dedicated to assisting children and adolescents undergoing cancer treatment.
