From May 29 to 31, the Festival of Nations arrives at the São Pedro Tourist Resort for its first edition. The name speaks for itself: the festival’s focus is to take visitors on a journey around the world through traditional foods from various countries.
With performances, concerts, and workshops complementing the multicultural experience, the festival aims to celebrate diversity. It also seeks to support local businesses while offering an immersive experience featuring different flavors, smells, sounds, and traditions.
Diverse cuisine in one place

Organized by the São Pedro City Hall, the festival is curated by chef and consultant Ludmilla Fonseca. In the culinary realm, the event will bring together more than 30 local restaurants . Each establishment will represent a country, offering a menu of 3 to 5 exclusive dishes.
Among the confirmed countries are Germany, Japan, Italy, Mexico, France, Argentina, Portugal, the United States, and Spain. In addition, there will be options featuring Brazilian dishes and Asian influences, showcasing the festival’sculinary diversity .
As visitors wander among the booths, they’ll feel like they’re taking a trip around the world without leaving São Paulo. Trying dishes and exploring new flavors. Or simply enjoying good old-fashioned Brazilian food.
What to expect from the Festival of Nations?

In addition to the food, the festival presents the public with 10 different cultural attractions. From music, with the concerts on the program, to dance performances and shows of the most varied styles throughout the days.
Attractions range from tropical shows, tango and belly dance performances, andjazz bandsto samba circles.
On the other hand, what sets this festival apart from the rest is the Espaço Fazer Senac. In partnership with the Senac University Center of Águas de São Pedro, it offers culinary workshops, such as the class “PerfectRisotto: From Toasting to Buttering.”
Another announced workshop is the Aperol Spritz workshop, in addition to experiences related to coffee culture and hospitality. All activities are free, but space is limited. Registration takes place on-site only, on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Festival of Nations takes place this weekend, starting at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and at 11 a.m. on Sunday. The event is held in the food court area, just behind Maria Angélica Park in São Pedro, about 190 kilometers from the capital.
Admission is free during the 3-day festival, so visitors only pay for what they consume at the food stands.
