Have you ever imagined stepping into the most vintage house in Brazil and even having an afternoon coffee there? Club Vintage 88 is located in an original 1970s house in the eastern part of São Paulo. With every interior detail preserved, it’s as if time has stood still.
The immersive experience recreates a functional home from the past, and you can even visit or book it for photo shoots!
Conceived by Júnior, a veterinarian from Pernambuco who moved to São Paulo with the idea of recreating the settings he experienced during his childhood. The initial trigger was his mother’s old refrigerator, which brought a sense of nostalgia to the surface.
According to the curator, it took 8 years to complete the house. It started as a personal project but later became open to the public. The rooms—including the kitchen, bedrooms, and living areas —are already furnished with original and restored antique dishes, appliances, and paintings.
And it’s not just decorations—the objects actually work! From kitchen utensils and a radio to a tube television, they’re all part of the experience that transports visitors back in time. You can touch and interact with the collection with the host’s permission.
Overall, it is not just a contemplative museum, but also a livable, multisensory scenographic house. Where there are sounds when you turn on the radio, textures to feel when rummaging through the cabinets, and a sofa to sit on.
The nostalgic afternoon coffee
One of the highlights of the experience is definitely being able to enjoy afternoon tea inside the house. Served at the end or during the visit, the meal is the perfect finishing touch to the immersion and the feeling of stepping back in time.
Grandma’s authentic afternoon tea has a warm, friendly atmosphere. Visitors can eat while taking in the kitchen’s decor and embracing the nostalgia evoked during the tour. The café serves warm caldo verde, homemade cake, and freshly baked bread. Plus, there are hot and cold drinks that taste just like childhood.
How to visit Club Vintage 88?

The experience already includes afternoon tea, but both require prior booking. In fact, visits take place at specific times, usually in the afternoon, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on dates set by the venue’s organizers.
Tickets are sold through the official platform and cost around R$40 per person. However, visits usually take place in small groups to enhance the experience and reinforce the intimate atmosphere. Club Vintage 88 is located in Penha, in the East Zone of São Paulo.
