São Paulo offers a menu of tours as big as its size. But since we don’t always want to stay in the city, how about some tips on where you can enjoy a café colonial near SP?
Throughout the south of the country, the so-called colonial coffee was influenced by the traditions of the people who helped colonize the region. This is because the settlers, as they were called, had a tradition of eating a hearty breakfast before working all day in the fields.

According to an article on Wikipedia,
It consists of an abundant table made up of pasta, such as a variety of breads, mainly homemade breads, which can be sovado, French, cheese, wholemeal, broa, focaccia, brioche, and sweet breads such as chineque. A variety of pies and cakes, such as cuca, corn cake and polvilho rusks. As well as foods such as butter, chimia, cheeses, ham, sausages, wiener sausage, bock sausage, pork, cookies, keschmier and honey, among others. Accompanied by drinks such as milk, coffee, hot chocolate and even wine.
In other regions of the country, such as here in São Paulo, the ingredients of colonial coffee have been adapted. Despite the change in the composition of the table, the important thing is that the snack is still plentiful.
