Since 2021, the Padocaria competition has been electing the best bakeries in São Paulo. After all, São Paulo’s passion for good coffee and freshly baked bread is nothing new.
The big winner of the last edition of the contest to choose the best bakery in São Paulo was Ceci, located in the South Zone.
Founded in 1964 in Planalto Paulista, the establishment is still true to its traditions today. After all, like a good neighborhood bakery, it offers freshly baked bread every morning and afternoon, displays a bountiful window display and has welcomed regulars for decades.

Colonial coffee at Horto Florestal
Those who visit the park, in the North Zone, at weekends can enjoy a colonial coffee at the Horto Florestal Palace.
The event takes place in partnership with the Velhão restaurant , a traditional local restaurant located in the Serra da Cantareira. That’s why success is guaranteed.
Available on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, from 8am to 11.30am, the colonial café at Horto Florestal offers a wide range of options including drinks, various breads, cakes and more. More information here.

Galpão Natural Bakery
The bakery is dedicated to producing 100% naturally leavened bread. Using the renowned Ramalho Ovens, imported from Portugal, the house guarantees breads of excellent quality. In addition, the fermentation process takes 48 hours and stands out for its simplicity, resulting in authentic and unique flavors, thanks to a levain created in the bakery’s own kitchen.
