Now in its 5th edition, the Arte no Outono Festival comes to Campos do Jordão at the Felícia Leirner Museum, in the Cláudio Santoro Auditorium. The celebration marks the arrival of autumn in the Mantiqueira region with Brazilian music, nature, and culture.
The curators focused on the diversity that a mix of generations brings. Therefore, there will be attractions for children as well as MPB, samba, and regional music performances .
The idea behind a festival in the middle of fall is to avoid the winter high season, thereby creating a new music circuit. The initiative strengthens and boosts the local economy until the traditional June festivals begin. In addition, it makes concerts and major events in the city accessible to all audiences.
Campos do Jordão’s existinginfrastructure was a decisive factor in its selection to host the event. The city, in fact, already has a tradition of hosting events that combine music and other festivals.
Speaking specifically of fall, as it is a period of climatic transition, the city tends to be less crowded compared to the winter peak. This way, tourists get better value for their money when looking for lodging or activities to do there.
Another attraction is the local scenery. During the fall, the trees change color and the leaves fall, transforming streets and green spaces into true spectacles of nature. Ideal for great photos.
