Forró fans are already counting down the days to enjoy São João Gomes in São Paulo! On May 16 and 17, Villa-Lobos Park will transform into a huge festival grounds, featuring traditional foods, quadrilha dances, and unmissable live performances.
The main attraction of the night is, without a doubt, João Gomes’ concert. The artist, who conceived the event, will be coming straight from Pernambuco with the best hits of forró and piseiro, kicking off the June festival season in São Paulo.

How can I watch João Gomes’ free concert in São Paulo?
Although there is no admission fee, São João Gomes requires tickets to be picked up for crowd control purposes. You can secure yours this Wednesday, starting at noon, on the official website. The organizers have not yet announced whether there will be a limit per person, but generally, the restriction is two tickets per CPF.
Expectations for the event are high, so there’s a good chance tickets will sell out quickly. Be on time to avoid any surprises! If you’re unable to pick them up on May 6, don’t worry: there will be three batches in total, available according to the schedule below:
- First batch: May 6 at 12 p.m.
- Second batch: May 11 at 12 p.m.
- Last batch: May 14 at 12 p.m.
During the reservation process, attendees will also have the option to purchase the official tour cup for R$ 25.
