One of São Paulo’s most traditional June festivals is finally returning for another edition at the Memorial da América Latina. Better known as the Memorial’s June Festival, this annual event features free admission and a prime location, right next to Palmeiras Barra Funda Station.
The venue, already known for promoting Latin culture, takes on an even more Brazilian vibe during the June festival. Decorated with small flags, a scenic bonfire , food stalls, and of course, a lively quadrilha dance group . Every year, the memorial hosts a festival featuring a strong presence of regional music and cuisine, reinforcing our popular culture.
The event is held in partnership with the production company Art Shine Eventos and is expected to welcome around 80,000 people over the two days. The purpose remains the same as in previous editions: to strengthen and generate income for small producers and promote the creative economy.
In 2025, for example, the festival created 900 temporary jobs and consumed 30 tons of food. In addition to supporting more than 100 small business owners, revenue grew by 20% compared to the previous year.
Culinary highlights

This year, the organizers expect consumption of around 5 tons of corn products, the star of traditional June festivities. The lineup features 80 tents and food trucks offering a wide variety of foods, such as traditional sweet and savory pamonhas —stuffed with cheese, coconut, or romeu e julieta.
In addition, the menu features cural, corn on the cob, canjica, rice pudding, cakes, mungunzá, caramel apples, and everything a traditional June festival has to offer. On the beverage side, quentão and mulled wine are also available at the stalls.
Musical and cultural attractions

The musical lineup fits the theme and revolves around genres typical of June festivals, such as sertanejo, regional music , and forró. In the last edition, the celebration featured 70 artists performing throughout the festival.
On the other hand, the festival will also feature June quadrilhas performing, ranging from the most traditional to the stylized, with some of them involving audience participation. In addition, there will be inflatable rides and traditional games such as fishing and ring toss.
