Magic is in the air, the fire is in the arena, and June is almost here. Now that Carnival is over, we’re already eagerly counting down the days to jump over bonfires at the traditional June festivals. With that in mind, we’ve put together a list of the June festival schedule in São Paulo!

June Festival in São Paulo: a guide to enjoying a traditional dance party
São João de São Paulo
Known as the city’s official June festival, this São João takes place at Villa Lobos Park and offers free admission. The festival lasts five weekends and brings the Northeast to São Paulo through regional cuisine. In addition to craft stalls and , most notably, musical performances.

Arraiá do Ibira
Also in the city’s parks, the new Arraiá de São Paulo is free and takes place at Ibirapuera Park. Lasting three weekends, the event is held between the Afro Brazil Museum and the Planetarium, with access through the park’s Gate 10.
The festival features food stalls serving June festival classics— , and traditional sweets. There will also be quadrilha dance performances, live forró shows , and traditional games.

Mosteiro da Luz Festival
The festival, held at one of São Paulo’s most beautiful historic landmarks , will feature live shows, the debut of a quadrilha dance with celebrities, and the traditional Miss and Mister Caipira pageant .
The culinary options are the main highlight of the festival, ranging from the famous pasta dish made by the nuns to the ham sandwich. In addition to the traditional June delicacies. Another culinary highlight is the artisanal sweets, made with century-old recipes that have been preserved.

São João de Nóis Tudim (CTN)
Right at the end of May, São João de Nóis Tudim returns to the Center for Northeastern Traditions to fill our hearts with June festival traditions. The venue will feature dozens of attractions, such as live shows, quadrilha dance performances, interactive characters, and games for the kids.

Vegan June Festival
Now in its 12th edition, the event offers a complete gastronomic experience with 100% plant-based takes on classics like jackfruit “carne” louca and canjica with almond milk.
In addition to the food, visitors can enjoy free forró danceclasses , musical performances, traditional quadrilha dancing, a craft fair, and a kids’ area.

June Festival at the Latin American Memorial
The mega-festival at the Memorial da América Latina has free admission and is also pet-friendly. Dining options are located in the food court area, with dozens of stalls and vendors offering traditional foods, quentão, and mulled wine.
The attractions range from live music, forró arrasta-pé, quadrilhas, and cultural performances, featuring more than 70 artists.

Votorantim Viva+ June Festival
Considered one of the largest June festivals in São Paulo, the Votorantim festival is a charity event. Sixteen social organizations are present in the food court, and they receive 100% of the profits from the food stalls. In addition, the festival will also feature game and toy stalls and an amusement park.
However, the main attraction of the event is the live shows. With acts such as João Gomes, Marisa Monte, Sorriso Maroto, Ana Castela, Matuê, and others.

Arraial do Largo da Batata
One of the capital’s biggest arraiás, this festival transforms Largo da Batata into a true countryside setting. Organized by Cola Em Sampa, the event focuses on the authentic experience, so expect plenty of music with forró trios, performances by the traditional quadrilha group Asa Branca, and even the Rock in Roça project.

Family Arraiá in the Park with Hello Kitty
Villa-Lobos Park hosts its traditional festival on the weekends in June. With free activities, scavenger hunts, square dancing with live music, and a kids’ area. The giant rides are an extra charge starting at R$10, with a VIP Pass option.
This year gets a “kawaii” touch with the presence of Hello Kitty. In addition to the traditional quadrilhas and forró trios, visitors can check out the Hello Kitty Parade exhibition, featuring stylized sculptures perfect for photos.

One of the most traditional June festivals in the South Zone. The event offers a gathering rich in culture, featuring maracatu performances and plenty of great music. Arraiá da Estação Atibaia

Pina Junina
The Pinacoteca de São Paulo takes over Pina Contemporânea Square for a festival that breaks the mold. The festival will feature performances ranging from the traditional forró of Coletivo Forró do Bom to the innovative sounds of FurmigaDub and Seu Bando, who blend Northeastern rhythms with electronic music.
The food is also a highlight, bringing together social initiatives and authentic flavors such as Pão do Povo da Rua, Cozinha Ocupação 9 de Julho, and the restaurant Fitó.

Arraiá Casa de Alice no Horto

68th São Pedro Festival

In addition to the musical lineup featuring live shows and DJs, the festival will have a big screen set up on June 13 to broadcast the Brazilian national team’s opening match.

Arraiá Barueri 2026
Spanning seven nights of festivities, the fourth edition of the event features big names like IZA, Dennis DJ, Ludmilla, Lauana Prado, Turma do Pagode, Guilherme & Benuto, and Lucy Alves, as well as local bands that open the main performances following the blessings from the city’s parish priests.
The public can enjoy a large food court run by local parishes offering traditional delicacies, big-screen broadcasts of the Brazilian national team’s games , and the traditional fireworks display at the end.
