How about closing the week at one of the most important museums in Latin America? From January 10, MASP will have free admission on Friday evenings, further democratizing access to the place. In other words, you can make your happy hour at the museum!
MASP announces free admission on Friday nights
Until now, MASP had free admission on Tuesdays, sponsored by Nubank. From now on, however, the benefit will be extended to Fridays, under the auspices of B3. This way, the public will have two days a week to visit the largest collection in the Southern Hemisphere free of charge.
Fridays will be free from 6pm to 9pm for all visitors. On this occasion, it will be possible to see works by renowned artists such as Vincent Van Gogh, Picasso, Anita Malfatti, Candido Portinari and much more, without breaking the bank.
The open space will also host free activities
As of March 2025, MASP will have the free span of its building under concession. This means that the museum’s administration will be responsible for the cultural and artistic programming of the venue, which until then was under the administration of the city government.
According to the museum, the change will bring temporary exhibitions, workshops and events to the open space, all free of charge. This will give us a range of options for enjoying MASP without breaking the budget.
