Temperatures have barely dropped, but we’re already eager to enjoy the winter festivals that are livening up São Paulo and th s this season. Among so many options, one event you can’t miss on your itinerary is the Folha Gastronomic Festival – Sabores da Montanha, which brings together the best bars, restaurants, and artisanal producers from the mountains of São Paulo.
Starting in June, several cities in the interior will offer a special culinary program, featuring original recipes and exclusive pairings. This will be the 4th edition of the event, which has now established itself as the largest gastronomic festival for winter destinations in the Southeast.

Why visit the Sabores da Montanha Festival?
The festival debuted in 2023 with the goal of creating a culinary tour featuring typical recipes from the mountainous regions of São Paulo, Minas Gerais, and Rio de Janeiro. The menu ranges from rustic flavors to sophisticated creations, showcasing the gastronomic diversity of these states.
In 2026, Sabores da Montanha will cover three regions of the state of São Paulo: Serra da Mantiqueira, Serra da Bocaina, and the Circuito das Águas Paulista.
The “host city” and main hub of the festival is Campos do Jordão, which has the largest number of participating establishments. However, visitors will also find incredible restaurants in towns such as Santo Antônio do Pinhal, São Bento do Sapucaí, and São Roque.
Each chef creates an exclusive dish that captures the essence of winter cuisine. Although there is no specific theme for the recipes, all focus on local ingredients and artisanal production.

Plan your itinerary and enjoy the biggest winter food festival!
Unlike other gastronomic events that offer fixed-price menus, the Sabores da Montanha Festival gives establishments freedom. Therefore, each restaurant sets the price for its creation according to its own proposal, allowing the public to find everything from artisanal snacks to luxurious dinners.
Many of the participating cities are just a few hours from São Paulo, making it the perfect opportunity for aday trip or an extended stay.
