Christmas attractions around the city
We’ve put together a guide to the main Christmas attractions in São Paulo. After all, the most special night of the year is just under two months away, and we’re super excited about the festive season!

Coca-Cola Christmas Tree
As is now tradition, Parque Villa-Lobos is hosting its imposing Christmas Tree this year. The attraction has more than 288,000 points of light, an almost 5-meter star and sustainable decorations made from recycled materials. As well as admiring the tree, the public can have fun on a 26-meter immersive carousel, one of the largest in the world.

Ibirapuera Park Christmas Tree
São Paulo’s largest Christmas tree once again lights up the shores of Ibirapuera Lake! The attraction has an impressive 57-meter structure, decorated with thousands of points of light.

Maria Fumaça Special Christmas Train
The Maria Fumaça train from Campinas, about 1.5 hours from the capital, offers a night ride in century-old wagons decorated with lights and a Christmas theme! The experience includes the presence of Santa Claus interacting with passengers, making the ride ideal for families and children.

Christmas of Peace
In December, the Municipal Theater hosts a special show with soprano Carmen Monarcha, the Mawaca Group and renowned singer Simone. The event promises to thrill with Christmas classics, including the hit “So it’s Christmas”, and songs from different cultures.

Black Machine
Directed by Eugênio Lima, the play proposes a reflection on racism, toxic masculinity and necropolitics, mixing theater, music and projections. Science Film Festival (SFF Brasil)
