This weekend, Villa-Lobos Park will host the 13th edition of the Wine & Jazz Sessions festival, which this year announced that it is entering a new phase with paid admission. The experience is ideal for enjoying the city outdoors, immersed in music, wine, and impeccable culinary offerings.
Seeking to introduce the general public to the “wine lifestyle, ” Wine & Jazz Sessions invites visitors to participate in tastings to discover new labels and producers, as well as to pair wine with dishes from renowned chefs.
The event aims to be inclusive and reach a wide range of audiences—not just experts and professional tasters, but families, groups of friends, and curious consumers open to new experiences.
The Cuisine of Wine & Jazz Sessions
The event’s main draw lies in its culinary concept. Recognized for its wine expertise since 2023, the festival brings together the leading brands in today’s market, such as Chandon, Terrazas de Los Andes, Miolo, Casa Valduga, La Azul, and others.
The venue will also feature 20 food vendors and 11 guest chefs honoring the event with their presence . Among them are Chef Fellipe Zanuto of Mooca Pizza Shop and Martin Casilli of Sky Hall.
Candlelight and other experiences
A first for Wine & Jazz Sessions, the Candlelight concerts will take place on both days of the event, in the late afternoon. The famous candlelight show has been touted as the highlight of this edition.
The organizers have arranged for an 11-piece orchestra, while approximately 4,000 candles set the intimate and immersive scene.
The lineup features concerts paying tribute to major names in international music. Among them: Coldplay and Ed Sheeran on Saturday, a day that also features performances by Mark Lambert, Indiana Nomma, and Duoderiz & The Flame Orchestra.
On the other hand, Sunday’s lineup will feature a tribute to the Beatles, as well as Felícia Wahhab, Derico Sciotti, and Dom Paulinho Lima.
In addition, the public will be able to enjoy jazz, blues, soul, and Brazilian music performances.
It’s the perfect outing for the whole family. The venue features a large kids’ area, a small market where you can buy items from artisanal producers, and facilities to bring your four-legged friend, as it is pet-friendly.
Wine & Jazz Experience in the Heights – by Salton and Roda Rico
Eager to make the most of Villa-Lobos Park, the organizers have created an attraction that takes place at one of the park’s highest points: the Roda Rico.
During the tour, visitors can sample sparkling wines from Salton Winery, paired with Scala cheeses and accompanied by Águas Prata. To top off the experience, there’s a sensory audio installation while the audience enjoys the panoramic view of the city.
