Have you ever visited one of the most beautiful lookouts in the interior of São Paulo? Pedra Bela Vista is in Socorro, about 130 km from the state capital, and is famous for offering a 180° panoramic view of the Mantiqueira Mountains.
Located within an adventure park, the site offers everything from extreme attractions to culinary experiences for all ages. That’s why it’s the ideal destination to escape the chaos of the big city.

The story behind São Paulo’s most beautiful sunset
Although it is now one of Socorro’s main postcard views, Parque Pedra Bela Vista is relatively new. The park was established in 2001 within a privateenvironmental preservation area that had all its current infrastructure built “from scratch.”
Initially, the project focused on adventure sports. However, the beauty of the Pedra Bela Vista Lookout was so striking that it ended up stealing the show! At an altitude of 1,250 meters, you can take in not only Socorro but also neighboring towns like Lindoia and Serra Negra.
This privileged view has turned the observation deck into an attraction as popular as the hiking trails or the rappelling course, offering a unique moment to contemplate nature.

What else to do at Pedra Bela Vista Park
In addition to the observation deck, the site is also home to Brazil’s largest swing. The Swing Rock is positioned on the edge of the hillside and offers the chance to swing 150 meters above the ground —all while admiring the vastness of the Mantiqueira Mountains.
The park also features an archery range, rappelling, cave trekking , and Rock View, an experience that provides safety equipment so you can walk to the edge of the rock and admire the view from an even more impressive angle.
