Rafting
One of the favorite activities for tourists in Brotas is rafting, where adventurers sail down the river under the instruction of an expert. There are options at night and even for children, making it the perfect choice for those who like an adrenaline rush.
Parque dos Saltos
This municipal park is close to the city center and is an unmissable and totally free option. Here you can admire the Jacaré Pepira River and the beautifully preserved landscape around it, as well as outdoor activities. For example, hiking trails, walks and waterfall baths.
Brotas Potion
This natural park is a veritable oasis of outdoor activities. There, tourists can enjoy zip-lining, slack-lining, hiking, boating, tree climbing and more! Poção Brotas offers accommodation or day use packages, with a restaurant available on site. Pets are welcome.
Sítio Pantanal
Next up is another eco-park with day use for tourists. Sítio Pantanal combines rural and ecological tourism, with fields of sunflowers, kayaking, slacklining, an artificial beach and a playground for the little ones. When you get hungry, just go to the local restaurant to try some delicious local food.
Viva Brotas
This park offers extreme activities such as sky biking, zip-lining, waterfall climbing and the exclusive Free Fall. Although it is often confused with bungee jumping, this activity consists of jumping from a platform with an elastic rope tied to your feet, which gradually slows down the fall.
Plan your trip!
It is possible to visit Brotas in a weekend, after all, the city is only 244 kilometers from São Paulo. But we recommend that you reserve 4 to 5 days for this trip, so that you can take your time to enjoy all the attractions.
The journey by car takes an average of 2.5 hours, with a total toll of up to R$100 (round trip). The bus trip, on the other hand, takes around 4 hours and costs R$114.38 each way.
If your goal is to go hiking, we recommend that you visit the city during the fall/winter, from April to September. This is because the dry season favors outdoor activities in mild weather, around 20ºC, with no risk of rain. In summer, temperatures rise to 30ºC, favoring water activities.
