The Tea Room of the Maria Luisa and Oscar Americano Foundation (FMLOA) is one of the most charming places to have afternoon tea or brunch in São Paulo. Located in a modernist mansion from the 1950s, the space combines sophisticated decor, views of nature and unique gastronomic experiences!
During your visit, you can also enjoy FMLOA’s large art collection, its beautiful gardens and an unmissable cultural program. How about planning a trip for next weekend?

Don’t miss the Tea Room at the Maria Luisa and Oscar Americano Foundation!
The Tea Room was born in 1974, when the former home of Oscar and Maria Luisa Americano became a museum. Since then, São Paulo residents have been able to visit the mansion’s modernist architecture and its gardens, which preserve 75,000 square meters of Atlantic Forest.
The environment combines charm, modernity and tradition. After all, you can enjoy a fine afternoon tea in the midst of works of art by Di Cavalcantti and Portinari, while admiring the brazilwoods, jacarandas and modernist sculptures in the garden.
The Tea Room offers individual experiences without a buffet. The Complete Tea (R$99) offers a selection of breads, mini sandwiches, sweets and snacks, accompanied by tea, coffee and artisanal juice. But if you prefer a heartier meal, it’s worth going for the Complete Brunch (R$109). This is because it includes hot dishes such as pasta, pies or scrambled eggs, as well as bread, snacks and sweets, served with natural juice. It is also possible to order individual dishes.
