Make a note in your diary and don’t miss out! On December 8th, from 10am to 5pm, another edition of Paulista Cultural will take place. The event promotes an exchange between the participating institutions. In this way, it will be possible to hold an Itaú Cultural workshop at MASP and so on.
This time, the event celebrates the 133rd anniversary of one of Brazil’s main cultural hubs, Avenida Paulista, and presents various cultural expressions such as dance, theater, literature, photography and visual arts. In addition, the activities include interpretation in Libras to ensure the inclusion of the public.
What happens during Paulista Cultural?
During the 8th, the seven main cultural venues between Paraíso and Consolação will present a diverse and free schedule of activities for everyone, thus democratizing access to art and culture. Check out the participating institutions:

- Japan House São Paulo;
- Sesc Avenida Paulista;
- Fiesp Cultural Center;
- Casa das Rosas;
- Itaú Cultural;
- MASP.
Featured cultural activities:
Paulista Cultural offers a wide range of activities and workshops that can be held throughout the celebration. Among the highlights are the darkroom workshop at the Fiesp Cultural Center, stencil making with architectural elements at IMS Paulista and children’s storytelling at Itaú Cultural. In other words, there are activities for all ages!
The urban art workshops at IMS Paulista, the Dragon of Nagasaki dance experience at Sesc Avenida Paulista, the performance dances and other presentations along the avenue also feature prominently on the schedule. Some activities have limited places, so arrive early to secure your ticket.
In addition, there will be the launch of the “Sou Paulista Cultural” passport, which can be picked up free of charge at the participating institutions.
