The venue is inspired by Castello Bevilacqua in Italy to provide a truly authentic setting. So much so that São Roque Castle is currently considered the greatest medieval experience in Latin America!
A medieval fortress in the heart of São Paulo’s countryside
Construction of O Castelo began in 2016 and lasted about seven years. In addition to historical references to European fortifications, the architecture draws inspiration from fantasy works to create a playful atmosphere, with themed furnishings and rooms. The staff also wear period costumes, transporting guests back to the 11th century.
São Roque Castle serves as an event venue, hosting weddings, birthdays, photo shoots, and social gatherings. However, the fortress also opens its doors to the general public on specific days.

A guided tour at O Castelo starts at R$ 90 (half-price) and promises a complete immersion in the world of knights. Visitors can explore areas such as the dungeon and the queen’s tower, visit a museum featuring medieval relics, and enjoy games and activities from the Middle Ages.
