New Year’s Eve in Praia Grande is back on the radar of those who want to celebrate the New Year on the coast, with fireworks and a party atmosphere by the sea! After two years without an official celebration, the city in the Baixada Santista is preparing a historic New Year’s Eve, with 10 minutes of fireworks distributed all along the waterfront.
On New Year’s Eve 2025, Praia Grande City Hall canceled the fireworks display a few days before the event, causing controversy among residents and tourists. Now, Praia Grande’s New Year’s Eve promises a triumphant return, welcoming 2026 with a pyrotechnic show in an unprecedented and technological format.

2026 fireworks display combines beauty and inclusion
The big star of the New Year’s Eve program in Praia Grande 2026 will be the silent fireworks display. The alternative seeks to offer a friendlier New Year’s Eve for sensitive audiences, such as the elderly and people with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – while maintaining the visual spectacle!
The fireworks show will start at midnight on January 1, 2026, and will last 10 minutes. There will be six fireworks points along the strip of sand, so that the lights will be visible from all 22 kilometers of the beach.
Another novelty is the LED megatelons, which will count down to 2026. In other words, New Year’s Eve in Praia Grande will be a real open-air show.
