In July, São Paulo’s largest Strawberry Festival returns to the Memorial da América Latina with free admission. With a lineup of concerts, a festive fair atmosphere, and, of course, a huge culinary celebration featuring strawberries as the star ingredient!
With dozens of food stalls everywhere, the event also features a special area for children and a mini-mall. Plus, your pet is more than welcome throughout the event.
What to expect from the Memorial Strawberry Festival?
The main attraction is the festival’s food offerings, which don’t usually have a fixed menu with specific dishes. However, the menu generally features strawberry desserts such as pies, cakes, fondues, waffles, crepes, meringues, pavês, and many other options.
In addition, visitors can buy fresh strawberries and find options featuring the fruit topped with whipped cream or chocolate. The menu also includes themed drinks such as milkshakes, smoothies, Instagram-worthy cocktails, fruit shakes, and non-alcoholic drinks.
For those who like to venture into new flavors, the event also features more exotic creations , such as strawberry coxinha or sweet escondidinhos. And to balance things out, there will also be a food court with savory snacks and typical fairdishes.
Facilities and other event activities
While enjoying the food, visitors can also enjoy live shows. The musical lineup throughout the day features different styles, such as samba, pop, and sertanejo. Plus, to match the July festival atmosphere, there will also be booths with games like fishing, target shooting, and soccer goal kicks.
The mini mall will feature stalls selling crafts, clothing and accessories, home decor items, and toys. There will be designated rest areas, as well as restrooms with changing tables.
