The 15th edition of Natal Iluminado is now available, bringing the joy of the Christmas spirit to the streets of São Paulo! The cultural event features beautiful illuminations in the streets, free music performances and shows, as well as art installations. So, if you’re already in the mood for Christmas, this is the perfect outing.
The event continues until December 26 at various points in the historic center. This year’s honoree is the Santa Ifigênia Viaduct so many of the artistic events will take place there. Check out the full program below, which promises to entertain children and adults alike!
Illuminated Christmas 2024 brings free activities to the Historic Center
The event seeks to celebrate the Christmas season while at the same time valuing São Paulo’s heritage, with intense programming at various iconic points in the Historic Center. The centerpiece of the activations will be the aforementioned Santa Ifigênia Viaduct, which has already been decorated with lights to welcome the festivities. São Paulo residents will be able to see band performances and an unprecedented tunnel with Christmas and urban art.
Also noteworthy is the “Revelando Guido Micheli” installation by Visualfarm, which creates a light show using laser cannons. As well as “Noéis do Cotidiano”, which shows modern reinterpretations of the Good Old Man as a skateboarder, gari, motorcycle courier, executive and more.
Largo São Bento, another iconic spot in the center, has a laser tunnel that projects Christmas light beams onto the ground, creating an immersive visual experience for the public. Rua Direita is enchanted by the “Garoa de Natal” installation, perfect for nostalgic audiences.
Downtown streets host artistic performances
In addition to the three decorated spots, the streets of the Historic Center will also host free shows and musical performances. Check out some of them below:

- Christmas Troupe: 17 to 23/12, from 16h to 19h
