Enjoying the vacations and wondering how to make the most of them in SP? If you like museums, a visit to one of Brazil’s greatest art institutions is the perfect way to enjoy the city. So, find out how to secure your free tickets to the Pinacoteca and don’t put this trip off until later.
In 2025, the “Pina”, as it is affectionately called by São Paulo residents, celebrates 120 years of existence. That’s why, in partnership with the CCR Institute, ViaQuatro and ViaMobilidade, users of lines 4-Yellow and 5-Lilac will be able to visit the museum for free until January 31.
Find out how to get your free tickets to the Pinacoteca:
To redeem your ticket, which gives access to the museum’s three buildings: Pina Luz, Pina Estação and Pina Contemporânea, all you have to do is keep an eye on the digital panels in the stations of the 4-Yellow and 5-Lilac subway lines. QR Codes will appear there, so just scan them with your cell phone camera and schedule the date of your visit. But beware: each CPF used to register can redeem a maximum of two tickets to access the Pinacoteca.
At the beginning of the year, many interesting exhibitions are on show in the Pinacoteca’s three areas. Check them out:
Pinacoteca Luz
- “Caipiras: from felling to longing”
- “Between the head and the earth: traditional African textile art”
