One of the advantages of living in a megalopolis is that you can find (almost) everything here. Even places considered obsolete by many, such as arcades in São Paulo. While during the 1980s and 1990s these spaces were a huge hit with young people, technological advances and consoles at home have pushed the public away.
Nowadays, it can seem very strange to think about leaving the house to play your favorite game, right? But back then, having a video game at home wasn’t for everyone. That’s not the end of arcades, because there’s always room for nostalgic fans. These are some of the houses that are holding out and show that the game will continue.
