Paloma, a restaurant and wine bar in downtown São Paulo, is celebrating its fifth anniversary and has chosen Copan to mark the occasion. This weekend, the venue is transforming the building’s sidewalk into a free wine fair, featuring special wines and must-try cuisine.
The organizers have already confirmed 12 prominent producers and importers, including Barbagianni, Cecconello, Caves Santa Cruz, and Mistral. The partners will bring wines of different styles and origins that reflect the diversity of the bar’s original wine list and take on a casual vibe when served in glasses.

To accompany the drinks, the culinary lineup features some of the most beloved spots on the São Paulo scene. Cuscuz da Irina, for example, offers a couscous dish with sun-dried beef in cream, toasted coalho cheese, black-eyed peas, cilantro, and bottle butter (R$ 44).
Bar dos Cravos is featuring fish escabeche with tucupi, butter beans, and cilantro (R$ 42). Mescla is participating with brioche sandwiches filled with breaded shrimp, egg custard, and cucumber pickles (R$ 50), while Chimi Parrilla offers pork empanadas with kimchi (R$ 16) and caramelized onion empanadas with cheese ( R$ 15).
For a sweet treat, try Pinguina’s ice cream ( one scoop for R$ 20, two for R$ 25) and the torrija with crema catalana, a traditional dessert from Paloma itself ( R$ 35).

Street party and live jazz
To liven up the afternoon, the Copan Wine Festival’s soundtrack will be provided by the República Jazz Band. The group plays New Orleans-style jazz classics and Latin rhythms, moving through the fair and mingling with the crowd.
