Ferreira & Passero Vinhos isan excellent option for a wine tourism experience in the interior of São Paulo. Located on the traditional Wine Route, this family winery in São Roque offers a warm and personalized service, setting it apart from large establishments with a purely commercial focus.

Ferreira & Passero Vinhos: artisanal production 1 hour from São Paulo
Ferreira & Passero Vinhos occupies an 8-acre farm at km 4 of the Wine Road, in the heart of the São Roque wine tourism hub. The property maintains a vineyard of almost 6,000 vines of different varieties, from table grapes to fine grapes for wine production. Production is artisanal and follows a philosophy of minimal intervention, allowing the region’s terroir to dictate the characteristics of each label.
During the visit, the public can learn about the complete cycle of the drink, from cultivation to the glass. The tour includes wine tasting that combines modern techniques and family tradition. In addition, walks through the vineyards offer beautiful views of the lakes and hills that make up the local landscape.

A 200-year-old bandeirista mansion enchants visitors!
The farm is home to an imposing 200-year-old mansion, the winery’s headquarters. Built in the 19th century, the bandeirista property has undergone renovations that respected the original architecture, maintaining traces of an old rural house to this day. The highest point of the land still houses a charming chapel, whose architecture is inspired by the mansion.
Ferreira & Passero Vinhos is open Tuesday through Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission to the property is free, but tastings and other cultural/gastronomic activities are paid separately. The trip from the city of São Paulo takes about 1 hour, making it ideal for a quick getaway to the countryside.
But a friendly reminder: don’t drive back and forth if you want to do the tasting! Take the opportunity to stay in São Roque and enjoy all the attractions the city has to offer.
