Amparo is home to Ashby British Strong Ale, the brewery that produces the best English-Style Bitter in the world, according to the prestigious European Beer Star competition. But as well as this drink, wine production is also a major highlight in the region.
The inland town is part of the São Paulo Wine Route. So when you visit the town, be sure to visit the main wineries in Amparo. Even if you don’t drink, it’s worth visiting the sites and getting to know how the wine is produced. It’s quite an experience!
