Amparo is home to Ashby British Strong Ale, a brewery that produces the world’s best “English-Style Bitter” beer, according to the prestigious European Beer Star competition. But in addition to this beverage, wine production is also a major highlight of the region.
This inland town is part of the São Paulo Wine Route. So, when visiting the municipality, be sure to check out Amparo’s main wineries. Even if you don’t drink, it’s worth visiting the vineyards and learning about the wine-making process. It’s quite an experience!
