Taking place simultaneously in the Baixada Santista region, the Strawberry Festival promises to sweeten the cities of São Vicente and Guarujá through early August. Focused on leisure, music, and cuisine—with strawberries taking center stage—the festival offers free admission!
The choice of July and August isn’t a coincidence—it’s because that’s strawberry season in the Baixada region. Combined with school vacation time and winter, which calls for something sweet, the festival takes place at the best time of the year!
The festival’s cuisine
The festival’s concept is to celebrate strawberries and demonstrate just how versatile they are—going far beyond classic desserts to shine in signature dishes. This includes pairings with draft beer, craft beers, and specialty drinks.
The menu also features other desserts such as meringues, cakes, pies, churros, and gourmet sundaes, as well as treats with strawberries in the syrup or filling. As for savory dishes, the menu includes snacks, seafood, pizzas, and even Japanese food!

The Strawberry Festival in São Vicente
After gaining momentum in previous editions, this year the venue chosen to host the event is Itararé Beach.
With the waterfront lined with tents and traditional food stalls, the festival promises to emphasize not only cuisine but also sustainability and community. It features family-friendly recreational areas and a pet-friendly atmosphere.
In addition, the event offers inflatable rides for children and free board games. Meanwhile, visitors can enjoy musical performances on stage. The lineup from Friday through Sunday is diverse enough to appeal to all audiences.
The Strawberry Festival in São Vicente takes place throughout July, on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to midnight, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to midnight. The event runs through August 2, so be sure to plan your visit before it ends!
The Strawberry Festival in Guarujá
In Guarujá, the festival has already become a cultural tradition. Now in its 23rd edition, the festival is part of the beach town’s official winter program and takes place at Praça da Enseada.
Organized with the support of local entrepreneurs and exhibitors, the festival features areas with toys and a playground for children. There’s also a craft fair and even a raffle for attendees!
While enjoying the festivities, starting at 8 p.m., visitors can enjoy live music by local artists by the sea at Enseada Beach. The event also runs through August 2: Monday through Thursday, from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Friday through Sunday, from 4 p.m. to midnight.
