SP-Arte Rotas returns to São Paulo for its 5th edition with 70 galleries, museums, and special projects! Created in 2022, the fair consolidates its role in showcasing Brazilian artistic production beyond the Rio-São Paulo axis, broadening its focus to include neighboring Latin American countries.
The 5th edition of the event features galleries from Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, and Italy, continuing the trend toward internationalization that began in 2025. Also participating are established names from the Brazilian art market, hailing from Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Pernambuco, and Bahia.
Special projects, territories, and a Latin flair at SP-Arte Rotas 2026
The fair sets aside space for initiatives with significant cultural impact outside the traditional market. Among the highlights are the Sertão Negro studio-school (Goiás), the Jaider Esbell Gallery of Contemporary Indigenous Art (Roraima), and the peripheral bridges of the Ocupá Gallery (Rio de Janeiro).
Under the artistic direction of Bernardo Mosqueira, a Brazilian curator based in New York, SP-Arte Rotas 2026 brings together memory, ecology , and resistance. Works from diverse contexts illustrate Brazilian and Latin American diversity, introducing the public to artists outside the traditional southeastern hub.
SP-Arte Stage Program
The fair also includes lectures and discussions with art market professionals. The lineup features artists such as Ayrson Heráclito and Carmela Gross, as well as curator Júlia Rebouças and collectors.
