As 2025 draws to a close, São Paulo’s cultural agenda is already starting to prepare for next year. One example is that the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra, better known as Osesp, has just unveiled its 2026 Season!
The long-awaited program will bring together big names in Brazilian and international music at the Sala São Paulo and the Estação Motiva Cultural; for example, conductors, world-class soloists and resident artists.
There will be more than 100 performances in 2026, including symphonic programs, choirs, recitals and other special projects. The repertoire will include works by Beethoven, Bach, Mendelssohn, Mahler, Villa-Lobos and Stockhausen, as well as world and Brazilian premieres by contemporary composers.

Osesp’s 2026 season: check out the program
Under the theme “Kaleidoscopic”, the next season of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra will feature musical celebrations full of life and color. Among the guest artists are Daniel Lozakovich, Sonia Rubinsky, Nelson Goerner, Kirill Gerstein and Hera Hyesang Park, who contribute to the diversity of the concerts.
The season will begin on March 5, 2026, at the Sala São Paulo. The repertoire will include Beethoven’sNinth Symphony and Bach’sFantasia and Fugue BWV 537, the latter in an unpublished transcription by Villa-Lobos. Another highlight is the immersive performance of Stockhausen’s Gruppen.

How can I attend the SP Symphony Orchestra concerts?
For the time being, the organization has announced that the Osesp Two and Thirty series will have tickets at a single price of R$50. Information on the prices of the other tickets will be announced close to the date of the performances.
But anyone who wants to guarantee access to the performances can sign up for the subscription program for the next season. There are several subscription options, starting at R$200, with exclusive benefits.
