In the heart of São Paulo, amidst parks and skyscrapers, there is a little-known place that intrigues even the locals. We’re talking about Rafulândia, a secret village built over decades by the traveling salesman Raful de Raful.
After years in hiding, the secret villa in Aclimação opened its doors thanks to the initiative of Victor Raful, the creator’s grandson. Today, the space welcomes visitors and holds surprises that seem to transport us to a parallel universe within the city!

Discover Rafulândia, a secret village in SP
Rafulândia is a curious complex of buildings, with colonial houses and cultural spaces. There you can explore a chapel, a small prison and even a theater! The curious thing is that Raful de Raful himself used to perform on this stage, as he was not only a traveling salesman, but also a magician.
The village also houses the old house where Raful used to live. The house has been transformed into a museum and today houses many rare objects that the owner collected throughout his life, such as a cylindrical piano and Edison light bulbs. Pieces as unique and singular as Mr. Raful!
How to visit?
Rafulândia is located at Rua Rubi, 50, in the Aclimação neighborhood. Visits cost R$35 and take place on Fridays at 3pm and Saturdays at 10am. From time to time, SP’s secret village also holds special tours with gastronomic experiences.
The tour is free and you can take photos as you please. In addition, those who visit this secret treasure in Aclimação have the chance to talk to Victor Raful, who shares stories about the construction of the village and the life of his grandfather, whose dedication made Rafulândia a reality.
