São Paulo will soon welcome another culture and leisure space. We’re talking about the Teatro Estúdio, which will be located in the center of the capital, just one block from Princesa Isabel Square. And the best part: it already has an opening date! Curious to meet the new space? Check out more information below:
Teatro Estúdio to open its doors in July with a play by Nelson Rodrigues
The new cultural space will be located at Rua Conselheiro Nébias, 891, and will allow presentations on various models. This is because it has a totally multipurpose space of almost 250 square meters, with high ceilings and the possibility of performing in an arena format or on an Italian stage, for example.
It opens its doors on July 6 with the play ‘Álbum de Família’, by Nelson Rodrigues, directed by Jorge Farjalla. The plot follows the life of a family on a farm which, although perfectly normal from a distance, hides a series of controversial events involving betrayal, death and incest.
The play will be available at the Teatro Estúdio until August 18, with sessions on Fridays and Saturdays (8pm) and Sundays (6pm). Tickets start at R$40 and will be available to the public soon.
