Have you ever thought about going back to a time when you could still gather in the street and play without screens? The Nostalgia Sem Wifi Festival is coming to Parque das Árvores to bring together people of all generations—especially those who are nostalgic for their childhoods in the ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s.
The event offers a complete immersion in analog games, with 40 street game options, as well as retro music featuring the famous “flashbacks” and old-school axé hits.
Nostalgia here isn’t just contemplative—it’s participatory. The festival not only showcases vintage toys for the younger generations but also invites parents and grandparents to play together again.
For children and teens, the initiative is even more meaningful; after all, it shows that it’s possible to have fun away from screens with simple things like a spinning top or a roller car.
The Nostalgia Sem Wifi Festival Project

The festival began in 2018, and according to its creator, Anderson Vieira da Costa, the idea stemmed from a desire to relive his own childhood alongside his daughter, introducing her to the games that defined an entire generation.
After the first edition, Anderson noticed the excellent reception from children and adults alike and decided to continue the project. The event became a permanent fixture, and this year marks its 5th edition.
The goal, in addition to drawing the younger generation away from screens, is to reclaim the streets, parks, and plazas as playgrounds. At the same time, as they enjoy the festival’s attractions, adults use nostalgia to revisit cherished memories.
What can you expect from the festival at Parque das Árvores?
Outdoor games range from classic roller-coaster rides down hills to games of taco/bets and spinning tops. In addition, the public can participate in challenges and obstacle courses such as the sack race, tug-of-war, and the iconic egg race.
On stage, the organizers also offer activities and interactions with the audience. Generally, the playtime schedule runs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
After that, the event takes on a more musical tone, with flashback sets from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, led by DJs Cecil and Silvio Ribeiro. It will also feature the group Na Pegada with plenty of “lambaeróbica.”
Tired of playing and running around? The festival features a social area and a food court with about 20 stalls and food trucks, offering a variety of food and drink options.
