Have you ever stopped to think about how creations like a can opener, the electric shower or a simple button make a difference to our daily lives? Before they became everyday items, they were all inventions. That’s why today’s suggested visit is to the Museum of Inventions, also known as Inventolandia, a place to discover the most incredible and unthinkable gadgets.
Created in 1992 by the National Association of Inventors, the place shows how much fun science can be for visitors, especially students. In addition, the works exhibited in this museum are available for negotiation with companies that want to invest in new innovative projects. In other words, at Inventolandia you can check out the products of the malls and markets of the future; it’s an unprecedented experience.

What can you find there?
Every year, 360 inventions are created, but the museum has a very strict selection, considering only 10%. That’s why the collection currently has more than 300 different creations on display, all of which have been patented. Check out some of the gadgets you’ll find at the Museum of Inventions:
- Pizza box that turns into a toy;
- Water consumption controller and monitor;
- Hammer with an opening so you don’t hammer your finger;
- Machine that freezes bottles in seven seconds;
- Chair that turns into an ironing board;
- Cap to remove speck from eye;
- Disposable barbecue grill;
