In addition to being a singer, Dua Lipa is also an avid traveler. The British artist has visited more than 50 countries, whether on tour, attending fashion events, or simply enjoying vacations between shows. Of course, São Paulo is also part of her itinerary, and she recently revealed her favorite spot in the city.
And it was with her expertise as a world traveler in mind that the new partnership between Dua and Google Maps finally came about. The goal is to show the world through the eyes of the singer, who makes recommendations for places she has visited and approved.
Launched on the 27th, the feature was developed in partnership with Service95, the editorial platform created by Dua Lipa herself.
How does it work?

The platform features 12 shared lists on Google Maps with over 130 places spread across 37 cities around the world. With categories such as: “favoritebookstores, ” “globalrecord stores, ” “unforgettableromantic encounters,” and “the best nightlife spots.”
In addition, she has curated lists for her six favorite countries: London, Los Angeles, Pristina, New York, Tokyo, and Mexico City.
Each place features a photo from the singer’s personal archive, as well as recommendations written by her. For those looking for tips from the “Dua List,” simply search on Google Maps and explore the options.
Matiz, Dua Lipa’s favorite spot in São Paulo

Dua came to Brazil on her “Radical Optimism” tour and performed in São Paulo in November 2025. During her visit, the singer took the opportunity to explore the city, posting on social media about what she did here.
In addition to the show at MorumBis, she went to the Circoloco electronic music party in the early hours of Saturday morning. And then she enjoyed a lively pagode party with the group Versão on Sunday. She experienced a typical São Paulo weekend, with a variety of rhythms.
But the place that won the British singer’s heart was Matiz. Featured on her list in the “best nightlife spots” category, the bar-nightclub is located in República. It combines great music with creative cuisine, an elegant, welcoming atmosphere, and is filled with works of art.
With an outdoor terrace, it also offers a stunning view of downtown São Paulo.
The musical curation was one of the highlights mentioned by Dua; the bar features national and international DJs, jazz, soul, and even Brazilian music. And every first Sunday of the month, there’s a vinyl fair for collectors and enthusiasts.

Translation: ” This is where the music is good, the caipirinhas are great, and the crowd is a mix that accommodates both those who just want to listen and those who want to get up and dance.”
Overall, Brazil was the only South American country on the list. In addition to the bar in República, the singer also highlighted Tropicália Discos in Rio de Janeiro.
