São Paulo has so much to see that sometimes we don’t even know where to start! To help us in this mission, the city now has the Paulistar Program, three free tourist buses in SP that pass through the main parks, museums and leisure spaces in the capital.
The program was launched on September 28 to celebrate the 100th edition of Domingão Tarifa Zero. Now all you have to do is define your route and explore the city’s tourist attractions without spending anything on transportation.

Meet the free tourist bus in SP:
This new option for transportation around the capital is super-technological and well-equipped. The buses are electric and have air conditioning, a USB charger and Wi-Fi, everything you need to travel in comfort and style.
The Paulistar Program circulates around the city every 20 minutes. All you have to do is identify the point closest to you, get on when it passes and get off at the desired tourist spot, no mystery! What’s more, you can use it as many times a day as you like. Check out the themed routes available:
- Paulistar Line 1 – Culture Circuit: starting at Dom Pedro II Park Terminal and going to Parque da Luz. A walk through the history of São Paulo, connecting Luz Station and the Portuguese Language Museum to iconic points such as Mercadão, Pateo do Collegio, Theatro Municipal, Pinacoteca, Praça da República and the Liberdade and Bixiga neighborhoods.
- Paulistar Line 2 – Parks Circuit: connects Independência Park, where the Ipiranga Museum is located, to the Ibirapuera Park area. It connects two of the city’s important green and cultural spaces and also passes through Aclimação Park. On the way, the buses pass by attractions such as USP’s Zoology Museum and SESC Vila Mariana.
- Paulistar Line 3 – Circuito Lazer: its destination is Paraíso and it departs at Pacaembu, also serving Ibirapuera Park. The buses connect the Avenida Paulista region, which is open for leisure, with stops near MASP, Casa das Rosas and Japan House, integrating important sports, culture and leisure spots.

Don’t miss out!
The Paulistar Program runs every Sunday from 8am to 7pm, with free buses every 20 minutes. Just choose the circuit that best suits your plans and embark on this unique experience through São Paulo.
