In October, the Expresso Turístico is hosting a Halloween-themed train ride that promises to scare even the most skeptical São Paulo residents. Enjoy a chilling experience on the Halloween Tourist Express
The special edition of the Expresso Turístico offers a Halloween-themed train ride, with scenery worthy of horror movies. From boarding at Estação da Luz to arriving in Paranapiacaba, passengers will have a truly frightening Halloween, exclusively for people over 16.
The wagons will be decorated with special lighting and eerie sounds, as well as a special on-board service with wine tasting. Another highlight is the horror characters who walk the aisles and interact with – or should I say “terrify”?– the passengers, making the experience even more immersive.
When you disembark in Paranapiacaba, the atmosphere becomes more ghostly. After all, there’ s the Passeio do Horror, a guided night walk that explores local legends in the misty atmosphere of the village. And to top it all off, a themed supper at Castelinho – one of the region’s most iconic and mysterious buildings.
How to take part?
The Halloween Tourist Express will take place on October 31st, a Friday. The tour starts at 18h at Luz Station and heads to Paranapiacaba, returning to Luz at 23h30. The attraction is only for people over 16, guaranteeing complete immersion in terror. There are four ticket options:
- BASE (train ticket only): R$ 230
- BASIC (train ticket + on-board service): R$ 260
- INTERMEDIATE (train ticket + Horror Ride): R$ 265
- COMPLETE (train ticket + on-board service + Horror Tour): R$ 300
- PREMIUM (train ticket + special on-board service + Horror Tour + themed supper at Castelinho): R$400
