Anyone who rocked out to Brazilian rock music between the 1990s and 2010s is sure to remember the iconic Chorão, lead singer of the band Charlie Brown Jr. The idol may have left us before his time, in 2013, but the legacy he built lives on in the hearts of his fans, and will now receive an unprecedented tribute. The public will soon be able to see Chorão House, the first official exhibition of the singer in the world.
So it’s time to get your skateboard out of the closet, prepare your nostalgia and let yourself be carried away by this experience that promises to move different generations. After all, Charlie Brown Jr. marked an era with lyrics that spoke of youth, freedom and resistance, sentiments that are still relevant today.
What can we expect from this exhibition?
The Chorão House comes with a super immersive proposal so that fans feel even closer to the artist’s universe. The scenography will include themed spaces that recall memories, as well as bringing together great guest artists who will be part of this unique celebration. There will also be the sale of official items for those who want to take a piece of this history home with them.
And of course there’s no shortage of skateboarding! A rink will be installed at the venue and, as well as being the backdrop for the exhibition, it will also function as a skate park open to the public. In other words, a space that combines music, sport and attitude, everything that has always been in Chorão’s DNA.
