If the Cepa Restaurant was once a hit in Tatuapé, now it’s even more popular in Pinheiros! The restaurant is known for offering a sophisticated menu at an affordable price compared to other contemporary restaurants in the area.
Growth is continuous. In 2020, Cepa joined the Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand list and since then it has stood out for its creative cuisine, quality service and relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The walls are decorated with works by young Brazilian artists, which reinforces the restaurant ‘s concern with “collecting relics”, whether it’s the food and wine from small producers or the art that decorates the restaurant.
What will you find there?
Go prepared to be surprised: Restaurante Cepa offers a seasonal menu that stands out for its fresh ingredients and small producers. Among the dishes the restaurant has served are:
- Cured Wagyu tongue with chicken broth, okra and mint;
- Grilled squid with bagna cauda and chorizo oil;
- Denver steak with fries and béarnaise sauce.
There, chef Lucas Dante explores contemporary gastronomy using techniques such as smoking, fermentation and curing. In addition, Gabrielli Fleming, partner and sommelière at Restaurante Cepa, handpicks wines that harmonize with the dishes.
