Few people know it, but right opposite one of SP’s most beloved parks, Villa-Lobos, there is a space that is pure cultural breath. We’re talking about the Casa de Cultura do Parque, an art and social center that mixes landscaping, contemporary architecture and a free program you can’ t miss.
Just a stone’s throw from nature, this place is perfect for those looking for a break without leaving the capital. With easy access (and of course we’ll show you how to get there using public transport), the Casa is open from Wednesday to Sunday and opens its doors to anyone who wants to explore, all for free.

What can you find at Casa de Cultura do Parque?
There are always contemporary art exhibitions, workshops, courses, lectures, concerts and other cultural activities open to the public. The program is designed to embrace everyone, regardless of age or interests. In other words, it can be enjoyed alone, with the family, on a cultural date with your romantic partner or with art-loving friends.
The space, surrounded by greenery, also invites visitors to slow down. Whether it’s to enjoy an inspiring lecture, meet independent artists or just take a stroll through the gardens, Casa de Cultura do Parque surprises with its tranquility amidst the chaos of the capital.
