Don’t miss the Cherry Blossom Festival season!
The cherry blossoms bloom only once a year. So you can’t miss the 45th Cherry Blossom Festival in Parque do Carmo. The tree is a Japanese symbol and has a very short flowering time. So when it finally does bloom, it’s a great visual spectacle.
Since 1981, Carmo Park has held a major event to honor the season. The park has more than 4,000 trees of this species which, when the time is right, bloom beautiful pink flowers. A hit with the public, the event is not only an opportunity to contemplate the natural beauty, but also a lively one.
